n1 Performance & Design

HRP

The Golf Club at Camelot
Congrats to #7 - Lance Fassbender for being the "n1 High Performers" on June 26th at Manitowoc County Expo
n1 Performance & Design is the proud sponsor of the n1 High Performer Award. This award consists of a complete nose wing support system. The high performer is the driver who finishes the highest in the A-Main out of those eligible for the award. Eligibility is earned by being the highest passing point driver from his/her respective heat. The twist here is that if you finish worse than you started you get points taken away. This only applies to determining eligibility for this award and not for any other aspect of the nights racing.

Friday June 26th at Manitowoc County Expo
Manitowoc, WI – June 26, 2009 - With temperatures in the 80’s, sunny skies, and a huge field of Sprint Cars and Late Models it was a race fans paradise Friday night at the Manitowoc County Expo Speedway. The race night was sponsored by Jerry’s Bakery, Two Rivers, and the trophy sponsor was Zip Prints of Sheboygan.

Lance Fassbender (Burnett) picked up his first 2009 EWSC Sprint Car A-Main win.

Robbie Pribnow (Mayville) jumped out to the lead of the 360 Sprint Car 30 lap A-Main from his pole position start. Melee broke out on lap 2 when many cars got together in turn 3 retiring Jeremy Schultz (Beaver Dam), Randy Call (New Berlin) and Dave Lisowe (Chilton) to the pits for the remainder of the night. Several other cars went to the work area and were able to make it back out to continue the race. On the restart, Kurt Davis (Milwaukee) took the lead away from Pribnow and on lap 10 started to encounter lapped traffic. The field was slowed on lap 11 for the car of Danny Schlafer (Sussex) stopping in turn 2. The green was shown and Fassbender passed Pribnow for second with TJ Luedke (Plymouth) following putting Pribnow in fourth. With what looked like a victory for Davis, the caution flew on lap 25 for the leader. Davis had mechanical problems and his ride stopped in turn 2 handing the lead over to Fassbender. With Luedke and Wayne Modjeski (Oak Creek) lined up directly behind him, Fassbender knew he had to have a good, clean restart. He did just that and brought home his first 2009 EWSC Sprint Car A-Main trophy. Rounding out the top 5 were Luedke, Modjeski, Shane Wenninger (who started 15th), and Pribnow.

Call took the lead of the flag to flag 15 lap Sprint Car B-Main and led the entire race. Finishing behind Call were Mark Wernes, Jr (Mukwonago), Joe Wipperfurth (Columbus), Scott Mohs (Sheboygan Falls), Scott Conger (Eagle), and Brandon Thone (Sheboygan).
