MSA Sprint Car Series

Saturday July 24th @ Sheboygan County Fairgrounds

Plymouth, WI: The heavy rains that dumped on Southeastern Wisconsin during the days leading up to Saturday couldn't stop the racing. Feature winners was Brian Kristan (Zion, IL) for the Sprints.

Kristan won the Sprint Feature for the third time in four tries this season. After starting eighth he would quickly move ahead on the outside. After running side by side with leader Ken Jay Fiedler for a number of laps, he took the lead in turn two on the fifteenth lap.

Danny Schlafer (Sussex) and Jim Melis (Glenbuelah) finished behind the leaders and Lance Fassbender (Burnett) completed the top five. T.J. Luedke (Plymouth) passed ten cars and finished eighth.

The first Sprint car B-main was won by Brian Johnson (Kewaskum), Jeff Wilke (Genoa, IL) was second with Tony Wondra (Campbellsport) getting the final transfer spot with a late pass.

Luedke win the second B-main with Doug Wondra (Oakfield) and Al Schlafer (Sussex) also moving on.
